Q&A

What should I wear to the wedding? Our dress code is Garden Formal. Think formal attire with summer friendly fabrics, and shoes that are dance ready. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on a farm, so we recommend avoiding stilettos or anything that might sink into the grass. Please avoid denim, sneakers, or casual wear. We also ask that white is reserved for the bride only.

How do I get to the venue and will there be parking? The venue is called The Woods Farm Jervis Bay, the address is Lot 3 Bayly Rd, Tomerong 2540. Parking is onsite with a maximum of 4 cars per cottage and an additional designated parking area for glampers.

What is the accommodation like? The glamping tents either sleep 4 or 2 people. Glampers have access to amenities such as a firepit, shared kitchen (with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, fridge etc), a shared bathroom with toilets, showers and products. All linen and bath towels are provided. The cottages sleep up to 8 people, are fully self-contained and include a full kitchen and laundry. All linen and bath towels are provided. Accommodation will be allocated by us with family placed in cottages and friends in the glamping area.

What time is check in and check out? On the 2nd guests can check in from 3pm onwards. On the 4th guests must be checked out by 10am.

Can I book accommodation elsewhere and still attend the wedding? We will be providing an all inclusive stay with all food paid for per person. Therefore, we would appreciate guests attending for the entirety of the stay so this doesn't go to waste. The Woods Farm has a (fine enforced) curfew for individuals who are not using the accommodation which means that not staying on site will result in missing a large part of the reception and the post-reception event.

What activities are there for guests to do? The Woods Farm has a pool which guests have access to from 7am - 10pm. They have a variety of outdoor games and there will be an optional animal feeding and yoga class for all guests.

Are all food and beverages provided and can I bring my own? All meals will be provided from the evening of arrival to breakfast on the last day. However, you can see this stay as a little trip away - bring whatever you like, food and/or alcohol to have at your own leisure. The only restriction is that self-brought alcohol cannot make an appearance at any of the official wedding events. We still encourage bringing some though as this will come in handy for kick ons after the reception!
